How to install apps in Android phones from outside of Play Store

Android is most widely used mobile operating system .You can download apps in Android from Play Store which is the official app store of Android . Sometimes you need to install apps from outside of Play Store . Yes , you can install apps from outside of Play Store in following way ..

1 -
First of all you need to get the APK file ( Setup ) of app which is to be installed . You can get APKs of apps from different websites like APK mirror and  UptoDown . You can also  just simply search the apk file on Google . Skip this if have it already . I am downloading the APK of Google Opera Mini from Uptodown .

2 -
Go to download folder or where the APK is located and tap on the APK file .

3 -
You will see a message that installation is Blocked .

This is because of default settings of Android which are set to block the  installation of Apps from unknown sources .To change these settings click on " Settings " .

4 -
A new settings screen will appear . Locate and enable "Unknown Sources" .

5 -
In some devices you will see another pop-up screen with some cautions and that "Allow for this installation only" . If you check that box then Unknown Sources setting will turn off automatically after installing  this app . Tap on "Ok" .

5 -
Then you see a screen similar to the following .

     Click in install .
6 -
Installation will start wait for few seconds.

7 -
After few seconds installation will be completed . Tap on done or Tap on open to open the app .

That's it . In this way you can install apps from outside of Play Store . Android OS gives you warnings because there are many apps are also available outside which are harmful for your data and privacy . If you wanted to know more on how to be secure while using the you can know here.
